HISTORY
Amanda becomes Dean's girlfriend at Truman High in 1997. However when she wants Dean to meet her parents, he pushes her away by getting caught making out with another girl. Amanda challenges Dean, saying she can see that behind his cool facade he is lonely. As she walks away Dean yells out that he is a hero, who saves people. But the kids around him obviously think he is making it up and he is further humiliated.
